Esse bowl foi descoberto sem querer, na verdade. Indo procurar açaí no freezer do supermercado, lá estava o Pitaya Pulp (polpa de Dragon Fruit ou Pitaya) e decidimos testar para mais uma receita de smoothie. Acho que fiquei mais empolgada quando vi a cor que ficou, do que com qualquer outra coisa!! O sabor é mais neutro, nada muito doce, tipo sabor de melão. Para fazer esse Pink Pitaya Bowl misturei com banana, um pouco de água de coco e uma dose de proteína vegetal para ter maior saciedade. Coloquei granola, chia e coco ralado porque a fome era grande e gosto de incluir apenas algumas colheres de granola para ter aquela sensação de uma refeição mais sólida. Smoothies são meu vício porque é sempre fácil, incluo ingredientes bem nutritivos, bato tudo no liquidificador e está pronto. As vezes vou tomando no copo enquanto me arrumo, não gosto de comer na correria, mas para aqueles dias que a fome é muita, mas o tempo é curto, essa é uma boa estratégia para manter os nutrientes em cima e ganhar tempo. 


  • 1 a 2 Polpas de Pytaia congelada
  • 1 banana
  • Gengibre Fresco (à gosto)
  • 1 scoop de Proteina em pó (gosto da marca Vega ou Sun Warrior) – opcional
  • Água de coco (Pode ser leite de amendoas também)


  • Granola (gosto da marca KIND)
  • Coco ralado
  • Chia


Simplesmente bata todos os ingredientes em um liquidfificador ou mixer e coloque em um bowl ou um copo mais largo. Depois adicione os ingredientes extras.

Extras: Pitaya, Dragon Fruit, Fruta do Dragão, são vários nomes que achamos por aí. A fruta em si é umas das mais bonitas que já vi, quando você corta ela ao meio, vai reparar  que ela é cheia de sementes dentro da carne e são nessas sementes que achamos W3 e W6. Além disso, sāo ricas em antioxidantes, vitamina C, fonte de Cálcio, fósforo e oligossacarídeos que ajudam a manter uma flora intestinal saudável.

I was actually looking for an acai pulp, while I was grocery shopping and, by mistake, I took the Pitaya Pulp, which was at the same place that I usually find my acai pulp, in the freezer section. Of course that the Pitaya pulp got my attention and after some minutes it was inside my grocery card. As a “smoothie lover”, I couldn’t wait to blend this pulp and see what would come up. I blended it with other ingredients, and it came out as a bright pink smoothie, and I was much more excited about the color than with anything else (like a kid). The flavor of Pitaya itself is kind of neutral, I would say something similar to melon, which allows you to mix it with most other fruits. I avoid having smoothies or eating fruit without a small portion of protein or good fat together, just to give it more satisfaction and to slow down the digestion of the fruit, which itself has a natural fast digestion and sometimes poor satisfaction.


  • 1 or 2 Frozen Pitaya Pulp 
  • 1 banana
  • Fresh ginger (to taste)
  • 1 scoop of protein powder (I like Vega or Sun Warrior) – optional 
  • Coconut Water (You can use almond milk instead)


  • Gluten Free Granola (I Like the brand KIND)
  • Grated died coconut  
  • Chia seeds 


Simply blend all ingredients in a mixer or blender until you get the smoothie consistence and all the pulp is completely blended. Pour it in a bowl or a regular cup and add the extra ingredients ( Fancify it). I like to add Granola to have the sensation of a solid meal, but it is optional.

When you cut this fruit you will see lots of black seeds, which are source of W3 and W6. Besides the omegas, this beauty is also filled with antioxidants, C vitamin, calcium, phosforo, and oligossacarides.

You may need a help from an expert (or someone more familiar with WordPress, if you are not), but just on the very beginning, then you will probably catch up! There are some free tutorials at U-Tube, you should take a look! I am also on my first steps, so I can only say that you really need to love what you’re going to write about it and if there is a special meaning for YOU, that’s already the best way to start! Read, search for new resources, different inspirations, and just do it. Make lists to organize your thoughts and set up some hours per day or week for you to work on it! Good luck!!
